Our website was recently redesigned and I’ll continue moving articles from the old website over the next few months. I hope you’ll enjoy the new format.

Formed in 1999, The Office Company provides tips, techniques, and tools for those working in office environments whether at home, in a traditional, or a mobile setting.

As the business community recognizes knowledge and intellectual resources are key assets. The knowledge-worker and the knowledgeable worker is the one who will survive the workplace of the new millennium. Technology as a whole and the Internet specifically, are becoming the measuring rods of work performance, quality and productivity. As the world enters the knowledge age, it demands technological expertise of every worker.

We empower individuals, organizations and businesses by providing unique up-to-date information for office workers. We strive to gather the most relevant content for our users. It is obvious that office workers now look to the web for learning. The need to create on the web a knowledge resource for the office worker becomes obvious. We hope that we are your resource.

You are able to immediately begin reading our Latest Articles by selecting the title in the right hand column. Or by selecting the Articles Section in the menu on the left you are brought to a page where you can view the most recent articles in all categories. The left menu is now showing all categories. Click on a category and browse articles by that category.

Next on the menu is the Tutorials Section.  For our purposes, a tutorial is an article which is much longer and goes into more detail than our normal articles.

The Security Primer & Alerts Section is just what it sounds like. It explains many computer security issues such as malware, phishing, viruses, worms, trojans and ransomware. It also has current virus advisories.

The fourth section on the menu is the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) section. Which includes: Windows, various Programs, Security, Hardware, Workplace, and Employer FAQS.
